Welcome to Jewelcutter.com. I am Gary Kratochvil. Many in the faceting community know me as
the author of the Gem Weight Estimator program. One of my specialties is
precision custom faceting (gem cutting) of fine gem material. I cut my first faceted gemstone in 1972 at the age of 18. Many years and many stones
later I strive for perfection in every stone I cut. The time I spend on each stone means I do not produce a large volume of stones.
It does mean that I am proud to put my name on each stone I cut. On the Cut Gemstones page you will
find exquisite tourmaline, natural Oregon Sunstone (red labradorite), rare garnets, fine aquamarine, amethyst, citrine, ametrine and many other custom
